Privacy & Security
HIPAA-sensitive. Attorney-client privileged. GDPR-compliant. Unfurl is designed with compliance professionals in mind from day one.
Data is encrypted with a passphrase only you know before touching any network. Unfurl's servers never see plaintext.
Qwen3-0.6B runs locally via Transformers.js. Your text, emails, legal drafts — processed by your hardware, never by a remote API.
Analytics are optional, opt-in, computed locally. We don't know what snippets you use, what you write, or how often you open the extension.
Where your OS supports it — macOS Keychain, Windows Credential Manager — encryption keys live in hardware, not a text file.
No dark patterns, buried disclosures, or surprise changes. We'll notify you before anything changes. That's a promise.
No background network requests except the optional sync you trigger. Small, reviewable, and we plan to open-source the core.
